Holiday Inn Resort

The Holiday Inn Resort opened in March 1996 in Clark Field, the former American Military base. It is an immense hotel complex set in a 250-hectare site which includes a golf club. The eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 caused a lot of damage but today, the area has still more than 7,000 trees, among them beautiful hundred year old mimosas. From the gardens, and even better from the rooftop, there is a superb view of Mount Arayat. The Hotel complex was designed by Jose Mamosa, the Filipino architect who also designed the Pearl Farm and Amanpulo resorts. He created a warm and intimate Filipino-Spanish ambiance, which was not very easy given the vastness of the setting. You can choose between two types of lodgings either a bedroom in a five story building or an individual villa. The  villas are luxurious, very spacious and bright, thanks to large but windows with venetian blinds. They include a kitchen, drawing-cum-dining room, two rooms with bathrooms,  a private terrace for domestic staff and a garage. the hotel is also a popular venue doe seminars and conferences. As the resort is near the Mimosas Golf and Country Club, people with a passion for golf will enjoy a holiday with the family.
